I know that many of you saw this title and you probably thought to yourselves that I have some secret embedded in this post designed to make a guy miraculously change from not knowing you exist to missing you like crazy. Well, if this is the reason you are reading this post then I advise you to stop now. I have no secrets, no special tricks, and no solutions that will make a guy miss you.
There! I was totally honest with you. But, what about those people who write titles like that and then they stick them on articles, books, or even training sessions? What about the people who come up with three, four, or even ten-step plans that are designed to move us from single to couple status. I really wonder, can anyone really make anyone else fall in love?
After all, if I’m making someone “miss me like crazy” then I’m assuming that I’m making that person fall in love with me too. After all, when we love someone that is when we miss them “like crazy”. Sure, we miss our friends, our brothers, our sisters, our roommates, and our office mates, but not like crazy. So, since we have established that we miss those we are in love with “Like Crazy” do we have the power to love and be loved as we please.
In my modest opinion, I will have to say NO WE DON’T. That is why it is called “Falling” in love. If we can really control who we do or don’t fall in love with or who does or doesn’t love us, then that would save us a lot of heartbreak. It would save us months or even years of sleepless nights wondering about a person who doesn’t share our feelings, and it would even make us always pick to fall in love with the person who wants the same things that we want. In reality, there is no way to make someone love us, and we don’t choose our freelings Therefore, there is no way to make someone miss us like crazy.
But, just for fun, let us assume that there are tips and tricks that would make someone suddenly notice us, fall in love with us, and miss us like crazy, then we really need to know how long this magic will last. How long, will it take this person to realize that he has been tricked into missing us like crazy? Or, wait, are these tricks everlasting? Even if they are, how would we really feel about knowing that we had done a trick to make the person of our dreams miss us like crazy? What this means is that this poor person was attracted to a fake version of us. We had tricked him into marrying us, or even just confessing that he loves us or misses us.
In reality, nothing fake lasts forever. This is exactly, why such claims are setting up relationships to fail. Maybe we can act a certain way and look a certain way and the man of our dreams will notice us and love us, but sooner or later the reality will come out. Our reality can be equally as amazing, but this is not the thing that got this man to notice us. He fell in love with the tricks we did, or with the fake version of us that we created based on a step by step guide on how we should look and act for him to be smitten with us.
That is why men are shocked when they see you without make up for the first time. They are shocked when they realize how vicious you can get when you are pissed off, and they are scared when they see the little not so flattering quirks in your personality that make you who you are. It is no shock that relationships end when the tricks you had done to make him miss you have evaporated into your reality.
So, let’s stop following such guides or even reading such articles. Let’s just be ourselves and the right person will miss us like crazy without us following a five or ten step plan to make him do so. Isn’t life better when we really don’t need to pretend?
